Directions to The Dunes from Cape Town
- From central Cape Town travel south on the M3 motorway.
- Drive south for about half an hour (keep to the speed limit as there are speed cameras).
- The motorway ends with a T-junction and you turn right.
- Go across the first traffic lights then at the next lights bear left signposted Ou Kaapse Weg.
- This is a 10km pass over the mountains to Noordhoek.
- After about 8km as you head down the hill turn right into Silvermine Road.
- At the bottom of Silvermine Road there’s a T-junction - turn right.
- Take the second left then first right signposted Beach Road - Noordhoek Beach.
- Take the fourth left into Protea Road and you’ll find The Dunes Stables at the end of Protea Road.
- If you go too far along Beach Road you will soon end up at the beach parking lot! Simply turn around and look for Protea Road.
